Emma is 47 years old, married, and has four children, three of whom are in school.
Emma is in the agricultural business, farming rice in the Philippines. She has requested a PHP 14,000 loan through Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) to buy fertilizer and other farm supplies.
Emma has been farming rice for 20 years now and has borrowed four times in the past from NWTF to sustain her business.
In the future, Emma would like to save enough money, so she could afford to send her children to college.
