A loan of $700 helped to buy two calfs to feed them and sell them.

Daniel Edgardo's story

Daniel is a 45-year old man who is married and has two children. He started working in agriculture when he was 12 and learned how to work in the land with his father and his six brothers. He sows corn and beans and also cultivates sorghum to obtain grain for the hens and forage for his cow.

Daniel looks to bring income to his family and sometimes works as a day laborer for $5 per day. He buys the necessary supplies and materials in a city located 10km away from his home and brings them by bus to save some money.

He is requesting a loan to buy two calfs to feed them and then sell them, obtaining some profit in the future. He would make the most of the rainy season when there is plenty of grass to feed the livestock. He wants to have several income sources to improve the life conditions of his family by working honorably.
