A loan of $500 helped to buy chicharrón, corn, beans, loroco, and other items.

Gricelda De Jesus's story

Gricelda is married with one 14-year-old daughter. She does not receive support from abroad. She makes and sells pupusas [a thick corn tortilla stuffed with cheese, fried pork rind, chicken, or refried beans]. She started this business to support her family, and works from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. She has been doing this for four years.
This loan will allow her to buy basic supplies such as chicharrón [pork rinds or cracklings], corn, beans, loroco [a Central American vine flower bud], and other items. This investment will help her to improve her business and increase her sales.
Her dream is to optimize her business and obtain a better income.
