The group "FILITON II" is composed of eight married women, who average 33 years of age and 3 children each, all living in polygamous families in ZAMBOUROULA, a village in BOUGOUNI (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). The women are collaborating with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to carry out their rainy season farm work. They are on their ninth loan with the institution. The past loans were indeed paid back.

Peanuts is the crop grown by MINATA, who is the second woman standing from the left. With her loan, she intends to purchase seeds to make use of 1 hectare.

After the harvest, the produce is sold to men and women customers in the village, at the market. She plans on making a profit of 45,000 francs CFA per planting. The profit will enable her to pay back the loan and help her husband to cover the day-to-day expenses of their household.

Le groupe FILITON II est constitué 8 de femmes mariées ayant une moyenne d’âge de 33 ans, 3 enfants et vivant toutes dans des familles polygames à ZAMBOUROULA, un des villages de BOUGOUNI, 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles collaborent avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de mener à bien leurs activités agricoles hivernale.
Elles sont à leur 9éme prêt avec l’institution, les prêts passés ont été bien remboursés.
L’ arachide est la spéculation cultivée de MINATA la 2éme femme debout de la gauche vers la droite.
Avec son prêt, elle compte acheter de la semence pour exploiter 1hectare.
La production sera vendue au niveau du village et au marché, après la récolte à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle compte réaliser un bénéfice de 45000FCFA par campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de rembourser son prêt et d’aider son mari dans les dépenses quotidiennes de leur ménage.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
