A loan of $1,800 helped to purchase mechanized farming equipment.

Andrey's story

Andrey earns his living as a farmer. He has been growing young tomatoes and peppers on his 20 decares of land since 1998. His family includes his wife and two children, of whom the youngest is 6 and the eldest 15. They all help manage the farm.

Andrey started the business by growing tomatoes in an open field. It's expensive to hire labor, so he has decided to get a walk-behind tractor to till and cultivate his plot. In the future (not right now), he and his wife plan to get a seed sowing machine for the tractor, plus they plan to plant cucumbers and squash.

Andrey's plans for his family include providing his children with a good education and buying a car to take his produce to the market to sell. He needs your help to finance the tractor.
