A loan of $500 helped to buy two boxes of tomatoes and bananas.

Regina's story

Regina lives in Mariakani, Kenya. She is 32 years old, married and has a 12-year-old child who is schooling.

She owns a small store where she sells vegetables and fruits. Her husband has been employed somewhere and earns a salary. She wants to own more branches of her business and add another product into her business. She also sells secondhand clothes.

Regina knew about Milango through friends, and now seeks a loan to buy two boxes of tomatoes and bananas.

She has been in the business for more than five years now. The major challenge that faces the business is the low season that is experienced. The extra income that is raised from the loan will pay school fees for her child.
