Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Eva's story

Eva is 47 years old and married with three children, two of whom are in school. Eva works very hard to provide for them.

Eva runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 24,000 loan through NWTF to purchase additional groceries to sell in her store.

Eva has been in this business for five years and sells a variety of items such as bread, baskets, fruit, soft drinks and other groceries.

In the future Eva would like to build and expand her business.
