A loan of $1,175 helped to buy grocery items, toiletries and beverages for her business.

Cleofe's story

This is Cleofe. Her previous loan was a big help in her business as she was able to buy more products for her variety store. The income generated helped to pay for her family's daily expenses. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs. Aside from her variety store, she also has a piggery and sells vegetables.

Cleofe would like to apply for another 50,000 Philippines pesos (PHP) loan to add groceries, toiletries, beverages and other products to her current inventory. The more items displayed in her store, the better her profits will be. And her increased income will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Cleofe hopes that her business will continue to flourish and dreams that her whole family, including her grandchildren, will always be in good health. She meets up with her fellowship* co-members to share stories of her work every week and to also draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
