A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase 12 head of sheep to start a business raising sheep.

Altiboy's story

Altiboy is a married young man of 26, and is the father of one child. He lives in J.Rumy. He raises crops on a small plot of land. To improve his family's finances, he wants to start a business raising sheep and combine it with his crop-raising work. Altiboy is planning on buying and fattening sheep for later resale. He has a shed in his yard for keeping the livestock and 300 bales of hay. He is requesting a loan in the amount of 1500 US dollars to buy 12 head of sheep. Altiboy figures that keeping sheep won't be much trouble for him; they are grazing animals, and don't require special feed. They are easy to breed, handle the cold weather well, and are very hardy. Altiboy intends to utilize the profits from the business to repair his house and improve his family's standard of living.
