40-year-old Papa lives in Bardnersville, one of the early communities in Liberia that is well-known, over-populated, and has rooms for rent that are a bit cheaper, with the option of travelling. He is married and has four children aged between 19 and 12, who live with him and attend school; his wife is a businesswoman. Papa has been running a shop for the past five years now, selling artificial hair and clothes. He started this business through his friends and learned it from them.
Papa is asking for a loan to buy more artificial hair and clothes for his business. He enjoys how his business makes him popular. A problem that he faces is small commodities, since he has more customers. His plan is to open another branch in the nearby community. He would like to say thanks to the lenders for supporting BRAC Liberia.
