Gulzadakhan's story

Gulzadakhan is 43 years old, married, and a mother of 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter). She has secondary education. Since 2003, Gulzadakhan has been engaged in farming - raising livestock and growing crops, having started her business with a sum of 10,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Gulzadakhan's hard work, and to her husband's assistance, the business is currently doing very well. She keeps 2 dairy cows and 15 sheep, while also cultivating a plot of land where she grows potatoes and corn. Her profits have allowed Gulzadakhan to increase the size of her herd and to improve her family's well-being.

In order to continue developing her business, Gulzadakhan has turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum & Partners for a loan of 70,000 som (KGS) to purchase additional livestock. She plans to invest her profits from the loan into further expansion of her herd, while also boosting her family's financial situation.
