Esther's story

Esther T. is a mother of three, Esther lives with her husband who is a businessman. She joined Life in Africa in October 2004. She is a very talented designer especially gifted with tie and dye and, also makes awesome crafts. Her tie and dye fabrics are much sought after especillay by African women. Esther also works at Life in Africa with the invisible children bracelet project as a bracelet producer. she does earn an income that can help with the house expenses. Esther's challenge is that after making her tie and dye products, she needs to ask some one with a sewing machine to help her sew her beautiful into garments so she can put them up for sale. She then has to pay for this service by the sewing machine owner. If only she had her own machine, she would be producing lots good quality garments. This is the reason why she now seeks a loan in the amount of 800,000/= so she can have her own machine and buy materials to do this work without her having to pay for the service. This will also enable her to do her work much faster and more attention will be paid to it. Esther will be able to pay back this money in 12 months. Below is her budget:
