A loan of $1,075 helped to buy kitchen utensils and ingredients for her preparations.

Luz Dary's story

Luz, 42, lives in a common-law marriage and has no children. She has worked with different activities and received an income from them. She is now selling fruits in a school located in front of her house. She also sells lunches, which has helped her to generate the income she needs to contribute to the home expenses.

Luz is a hardworking woman that fights every day to get ahead. This is why she decided to request a loan to buy kitchen utensils (pots, knives, ladles) and supplies (meat, grains, rice, fruits) in order to be able to prepare her foods and have enough products to satisfy her customers’ demands. This way, her income will increase and she will take one more step toward the fulfillment of her dream, which is to open a big restaurant in her own establishment and with a good reputation. This would give her the opportunity to get ahead, have a more stable economy at home and to have a better quality of life.
