Kuña Pora Group's story

The Kuña Pora group is in the second cycle of their program with the women's communal bank. They are from the city of Concepción in an area somewhat removed from the main city and still in development. this area is difficult to access, for this reason the members of this group are fighting to grow and provide the area where they live a better environment and to encourage it to slowly grow.

María is one of the members and she originates from a small administrative division within a municipality of the city of Belén. There she keeps her small business selling fruits, vegetables, novelties, cleaning supplies and meats. She is a very hard worker and wants to improve as the cycles pass and in this way get ahead. She requests this loan for the purchase of consumable goods such as fruits and vegetables to be sold so that she may continue growing with her business. She wishes to provide her family with what they need so that they may have a life without want.
