A loan of $1,075 helped to buy six calves to raise.

Ángela María's story

Ángela, age 32, is a mother of two and in a common-law marriage. She was born and raised in the country, where her parents and older siblings taught her how to work in agriculture; it is a family tradition. She currently has a henhouse where she raises and fattens chickens to later sell. This generates an income so she can support her children, but she wants to start working with livestock in order to make use of a pasture she owns. This is why, with an enterprising attitude, she is requesting a loan. She will use it to buy livestock (6 calves). In some time they will generate more income so that she can provide her family solid economic stability and give her children an excellent education. This will ensure that they become upright people with a prosperous and successful future. Her family is her motor; she fights for them every day. She works hard to move forward and meet her goals. She wants to move forward with the livestock business and make it a solid business. This will allow her to have a better quality of life and better well-being.
