A loan of $1,075 helped to buy a dairy cow.

María Fernanda's story

Fernanda, age 34, is in a common-law marriage and has no children. She has spent her whole life in the country, where her father taught her to work in agriculture. She now produces and sells milk on her small plot of land which her father has lent her. Because she is an only child, her father will leave her his livestock and land when he passes away.
Fernanda is a hard-working woman who is very active and has a great desire to succeed. For this reason, she is requesting a loan. She will invest it in the purchase of a dairy cow. This will increase her production, so she will have a greater income. This will help her to improve her quality of life, and she will be able to reach her dream of expanding her business so that it lasts a long time.
