Carmenza Benita's story

Carmenza was born in the city of León. She is 47 and the single mother of five children. She is a merchant who makes and sells piñatas. Her first business was selling cajeta, milk-based caramel, as a street vendor. Then she worked hard to become a piñata dealer to local markets.

She expects to increase her income and grow her business. She has applied for a loan to buy supplies such as cardboard, glue, starch, twine, scissors, and crepe paper. Her goal is to make higher quality products to sell throughout the country.
