Nerith's story

Nerith, 54, is married to Jeremías and has 4 children. At the moment only one child lives with them in their own house.

Nerith's work consists of selling flowers; single-stem flowers and floral arrangements. She works every weekend in the cemetery in her area. She sets up her stall hanging all her flowers in buckets with water and sells: carnations, sunflowers, gladiolus, lilies, irises, violets and roses in various colours. She works alone since her activity doesn't require great physical effort. She has been doing this work for 7 years already and it's going very well. She likes her job very much as she enjoys talking with other vendors while selling flowers to various people who come to visit their relatives' tombs and mausoleum.

She still does not feel fulfilled since she wishes to have a store dedicated only to the sale of flowers, since she feels that it is the moment to begin growing and to have her own premises.

At this time she is requesting 2000 Peruvian Soles. She is grateful and happy to know that she can continue to rely on the financial support that she needs to make progress with her business.

With the amount requested, she will buy more assorted flowers to better provide her business and increase sales.
