A loan of $375 helped to buy fruits in bulk.

Gloria's story

Gloria is a 34-year-old woman. She is married and lives with her three children in a wooden house. Gloria owns a store where she sells beverages made with fresh fruits. She has a refrigerator, where she stores her products. Neighbors and passersby like her products. What she likes the most is to have an income to cover the home expenses, while staying at home to take care of her children, who are still young. She tries to help them with anything they need.

One of Gloria’s main long-term goals is to rebuild her house using bricks and cement, hoping to improve her family’s quality of life. This is her third loan with Kiva and she feels grateful for the financial support she receives to get ahead. She also promises to pay the installments on time.

This time, she needs 1,000 nuevos soles [PEN] to buy fruits in bulk to prepare beverages and popsicles.
