Sonia Jamileth's story

Sonia is 38 years old, married, has four children and lives in the Yoro municipality with her husband and children. She is an elementary school teacher and has more than 12 years in the dressmaking business. She has set up her own sewing workshop at a stall in the market, hiring employees that help her produce clothes. She makes suits, pants, jackets, shirts, blouses and other garments.

She has decided to request a second loan for 20,000 lempiras with which she will buy raw materials, such as cloth, to make suits. Her goal is to make her business self-suistaining and that her children can manage it afterwards.
