Fatima's story

Fatima is 39 years old and has two children, ages 7 years and 20 years. Her children are going to school.

She runs a clothing enterprise in Waterloo Eastern area in Freetown. She began this business because she was a housewife and she wanted to stop sitting at home. Instead she wants earn her own income.

She's been in this business for 12 years and sells jeans, T-shirts and underwear. She says that, despite the challenges, she is a very hardworking woman and desires to educate her children.

Fatima requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase jeans, T-shirts and underwear. She says that the extra resulting income will help her to increase her business and improve their standard of living.
