A loan of $350 helped to buy peanuts, beans, and used clothing to resell.

Maria Julio's story

Maria has had a business for more than ten years and works more than ten hours a day in her little grocery store. She is unmarried and has five adult, economically independent children. She lives in her own home that she was able to acquire because of the income her business provides. She will use this loan to buy peanuts, beans, and used clothing to resell. In the future, Maria plans to build some extra rooms to rent out so she can increase her income and improve her life. She also hopes to expand her business. She will continue to request loans from Hluvuku-Adsema to reach her goals.
