A loan of $1,325 helped to install two video game modules, for which she needs to buy two televisions and two PlayStation 3s.

Nubia's story

Nubia, 48, is separated and has three children. For various reasons, she left her home city and moved to a municipality in the region of Antioquia with her children in search of new opportunities. She put down roots and used her savings to start up a business offering internet services, video games, and the sale of minutes. She took advantage of her experience as a businesswoman, and with the help of one of her children, she was able to learn about computer systems. She now complements her income with the service of computer maintenance when her clients ask for it. Nubia was able to provide for her three children by herself, fighting every day to offer them a decent life and facing any challenges which came up.

She is applying for a loan to invest in the installation of two video game modules, for which she needs to buy two televisions and two PlayStation 3s. Her goal is to satisfy the demand of children and young people in her area, who are her main clients. She will then be able to increase her sales and her income so that she can continue contributing to her home economy. She will also take a step towards accomplishing her main dream, which is to expand her business by accommodating her clients so that they can have fun and interact, diversifying the services which she offers in order to satisfy the needs of her area's inhabitants. This will give her the opportunity to have good financial stability so that she can give her children a better quality of life.
