The members of the group Benkadi I are all married women who are on average 30 years old and have on average 3 children. Most of them live in polygamous families in Massoukou, one of the villages in Dioila prefecture, Koulikoro region, 2nd administrative region of Mali.

They collaborate with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso with the aim of being able to better organize their businesses in the beginning of winter. The crops grown are groundnuts and mil [African cereal]. They are on their fourth collaboration with the institution.

With this loan Massara, the first person on the left in the row of people standing, plans to buy inputs, small equipment and pay the labor fees to maintain about 1 hectare of mil and groundnuts.

After the harvest the produce is sold in the city of Marka Coungo to a clientele composed of men and women. She envisions making a profit of about 95,000 FCFA per planting.

Les membres du groupe BENKADI I sont des femmes mariées avec une moyenne d’âge de 30 ans et ont en moyenne 3 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles polygames à Massoukou un des villages de préfecture de Dioila, région de Koulikoro, 2ème région administrative du mali.
Elles collaborent avec l’institution de micro finance Soro Yiriwaso dans le but de pouvoir mieux organiser leurs activités en début d’hivernage. Les spéculations cultivées sont l’arachide, du mil. Elles sont à leur quatrième collaboration avec l’institution.
Avec ce prêt, Massara la première personne à gauche dans le rang des debout, compte acheter les intrants, les petits équipements et payer les frais de labour pour entretenir environs 1 ha de mil et d’arachide
Les productions sont vendues au niveau de la ville de Marka Coungo après les récoltes à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes. Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice de 95 000F CFA environs par campagne.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
