A loan of $275 helped a member to build a decent latrine for his family.

Khley's Group's story

Khley, in his late 40s and a resident of Takeo province’s Samrong district, is married and has three children. He deals with his primary basic needs via working as a paid worker at a construction site and his wife is working at a factory. He has engaged in his current business for ages and he manages to earn about 13,000 KHR per day. Khley is new to VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). Now, he leads a group of four to apply for a new loan. As the leader, he will spend his loan portion to build a decent latrine for his family. He hopes to own a proper latrine to prevent illness due to lacking sanitation practices.
