A loan of $725 helped to purchase cereals.

Soumana's story

Monsieur Soumana was born around 1979 in Maba where he still lives. He is a father of five and lives in a traditional family with his wife and children.
He has been involved in the purchase and sale of cereals and agricultural products for 6 years. He sources his goods from Dioïla and the surrounding areas. He delivers his products to Dioïla after having stocked them for several months. He is on his fourth loan and the third previous loans have all been repaid successfully. With this new loan he aims to purchase a tonne of millet and a tonne of corn which will be stored in his shop and sold when required. He retails his goods to a customer base of wholesalers and end consumers, from his store or the market. With this new loan he aims to generate an average monthly profit of 70,000 FCFA. This profit will be used to increase his purchasing power and meet his family's needs.
