Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Abdallah's story

Abdallah is a 19-year-old single man from Gaza city. He lives in a humble house with his family in the city. Abdallah's mother works as an employee in the public sector and makes a low income. This income is barely enough to cover the family's needs. Abdallah is studying engineering in his second year. He is a very smart boy; he is very insistent to complete his studies, but the costs of university learning are very high.

Abdallah took a USD loan from FATEN. this loan will help him to buy a new laptop for his study. Since he needs a laptop to use engineering programs, this will make his study and his marks better. This will ensure a better future for Abdallah and his family.
