A loan of $1,325 helped to buy farming supplies for her coffee crops.

Maria Amparo's story

Doña María Amparo is 45 years old and the mother of one child. She lives with her husband and son in a house of their own. María Amparo completed her primary school education through the sixth grade, thanks in part to the support of her parents and also to the effort she put into her studies. She has been growing coffee for more than 10 years. María Amparo learned this business from her parents since her family has done this for many years and over several generations. She travels every day with her husband and son to the place where their crops are located. They must maintain the crops in order to prevent damage caused by diseases and pests.

María Amparo is requesting assistance so that she can buy supplies for maintaining her crops. She needs to weed, fertilize, and feed the coffee plants, which will provide total care for producing coffee beans. Her goal is to fertilize and maintain her crops in the same manner that she has always done to this point. This will help her achieve a secure and quality harvest.

Her dreams as a mother are to support her son as he continues his studies and to see him graduate to the university level.
