A loan of $525 helped a member to buy groundnut seeds and fertilizer for the fields.

Jubbo De Ndoune N 2 Group's story

The Jubbo de Ndoune loan group is made up of good women who have been developing farming activities since they were very young, since this is an activity they inherited from their parents and ancestors. They live in a village which lies several kilometers from the main town. The leader of the group is called Fatou, and she is the smallest one in the photo; she is married and a mother. Although her husband manages the daily expenses, this does not prevent her from making a contribution. This is her first experience of taking out a loan and she will use the loan to buy groundnut seeds and ferilizers for her farming. She would like to increase her farming land so that she can do market gardening.
