A loan of $600 helped to buy motorcycle spare parts.

Nepo's story

Nepo, aged 24, is married to Molly, and they have two children aged four and two respectively. He stays with one dependant, a house helper and pays tuition for one of his children. He is a motorcycle mechanic, and it's his major source of income. Nepo has approached Ugafode for a loan of Ugx.1,500,000 in order to buy motorcycle spare parts for sell. It's his additional source of income because demand for such items has increased due to rapid growth of the trading centre. He promises to pay after the sale of spare parts. Nepo dreams of developing his business into a one stop shopping centre for all motorcycle spare parts in his town. This will help him to improve the standard of living of his household. However the challenges include competition, which he hopes to overcome when he gets additional loans from Ugafode because he will be able to buy much more equipment.
