A loan of $4,200 helped a member to buy cocoa.

Sin Límites (Cuenca) Group's story

The group Sin Limites is comprised of 10 women that are friends and relatives. They live in the city of Cuenca, which is surrounded by natural beauty, its architecture is a mix of colonial and modern, it has 4 rivers marking its boundaries, and its gastronomy is varied so that all visitors can find food that they enjoy. The people of the city maintain the culture and traditions of the villages. The people are hard-working and their main goal is to help their families get ahead so that they can provide a better future for their children.

One of the members of this group is Fabiola. This is her fourth loan as a member of the Sin Limites group. She likes the group because of its companionship, friendship, and the strong bond between the members.

Fabiola is 36 years old, she is married, and she has four children that are 14, 12, 4 and 1 years old. The two oldest children are in high school and her 4 year-old is in kindergarten. Her husband is a craftsman and works in the family business. They do not own their own home but instead rent.

Fabiola works in the family business. For the past year, she has been making chocolate. She works every day without a set schedule, as her work depends on the orders that she receives.

With this loan she will invest in the purchase of cocoa.

Her ultimate goal is to grow her chocolate business.
