Santos' Group's story

The “Luna Lunita” (Moon Little Moon) communal bank consists of 13 members, ten women and three men. The bank president is Santos who is 57-years-old and has six children who are all adults now. His economic activity is selling seasonal fruit, an activity he’s been in for 20 years. The loan is earmarked for the purchase of seasonal fruit at wholesale for his stand. Santos is a hardworking man since this is his only source of income. He feels grateful to the institution for the support provided. His sales stand is in the Bolívar zone in one of the zone’s markets. Santos’ wish is to have a store where he can offer a variety of products while increasing his clientele to generate higher income. He feels happy and grateful with the institution for the support provided.
