Sergey lived in Azerbaijan for many years. Finally he has come back to his sweet motherland. He got married and today has a large and traditional lovely Armenian family. Sergey has three children: two sons who are married and live with their families with Sergey, and a daughter who is married and lives separately with her family.

Sergey’s whole family is employed, all working at the local schools as teachers. For many years, Sergey worked as a teacher, then as a school administrator. Now he is director of the village school. The family also works together in farming and agriculture, which gives them great pleasure. They have a rich and very nice farm. They have 45 bee hives, five bulls, one heifer, and more than 30 chickens. They also cultivate a huge plot of land, growing potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, apples, peaches, pears, plums and nuts. Sergey is a very clever farmer and manages to earn money by selling all kinds of farm products that they have grown. Their largest source of income is from the sale of meat, honey and nuts.

Sergey has asked for a loan of 2,800 USD in order to buy several bulls, bee hives, and also animal fodder. It will be Sergey’s first deal with Kiva lenders, but Sergey has cooperated with Kiva field partner Nor Horizon several times and all the loans helped him very much. He greatly relies on Kiva lenders’ kindness and support and hopes for a future deal.
