Paul's story

Paul is a man of 26 years, married to Violet, and a father of two children. He runs a general shop in Kangemi. He has been in this business for three years now and gets monthly income of KES 60,000 (Kenya shillings).

This will be Paul's first loan with Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET). He plans to use the entire loan to add to his stock and purchase food items, such as sugar, rice, cooking fat, and salt.

In the future, Paul desires to buy his own shop.
