A loan of $625 helped to buy cereals.

Issouf's story

Mr ISSOUF was born around 1969 in Gningoni Cercle de Sikasso. He lives in a nuclear family with his children and his spouse in Kadiolo in the neighborhood called Noumousso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

His business has been buying, stocking and selling cereals for seven years. His experience in this domain affords him a good reputation and he gets orders from various clients. Thus, in order to have at hand the resources to satisfy his clients, he collaborates with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso. He is on his sixth loan and the five prior loans were correctly reimbursed.

This loan will allow him to buy around 30 sacks of 50 kg of cereals: millet and maize. He buys his stock in Kadiolo and Zégoua. His sales are made in Kadiolo. The cereals he buys are stocked in his warehouse in Kadiolo for a good while. His clientele is composed of men and women from the village.

With this loan, he expects to make an average monthly profit of 80,000 F CFA each month. This profit will allow him to pay the interest on his loan and reinvest the rest in his activity. He intends to become a wholesaler so that he can satisfy the needs of his ever-growing and numerous clientele.
