Dezi is married with five children and four of her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family members (older parents). She owns a restaurant and has been in this business for many years. She generates additional income through selling piped water and having a food stall. She works at the market and sells on a retail basis six days out of every week. Dezi has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more bunches of green bananas, sweet potatoes, onions, beef, chicken and ground nuts. She is aspiring to own a fully stocked restaurant and also to educate her children up to university. She resides in the family house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses includes school fees and paying for utility bills.
