Progress Sisters Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 34-year-old Nelia from Mutare. Nelia belongs to Progress Sisters Group. She is married with four children, two of whom are attending school.

Nelia runs a retail business which sells clothes (babywear, ladies’ suits) and footwear. The business has been in operation for three years. She says the main challenge being faced is stiff competition on the market.

Nelia has requested a loan of $600 to buy clothes and footwear for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the general welfare of her family. In the future, Nelia plans to own a boutique shop in town.

Nelia is holding her own baby, and she is a member of Progress group.
