A loan of $2,050 helped to buy women's clothing for resale and expand her merchandise selection.

Gulbakhar's story

Gulbakhar is 26 years old, married and has one son. She has been involved in selling women's clothing since 2008, having started this business with a sum of 20,000 som (KGS). Gulbakhar was able to grow her business to have a monthly income of 20,000 som (KGS). In order to expand her merchandise selection, Gulbakhar requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the Microfinance bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners." Gulbakhar plans to invest the earnings from the business in a continued expansion of merchandise selection and also wants to build a house in the future.
