María Dolores's story

María, 45, is married with three children. She’s a hardworking, enterprising woman who very much wants to get ahead. She’s currently in the role of a housewife and at the same time has been selling dairy products like cheese, cream and soft white cheese for 26 years and has recently added selling chocolate. Her work stand is located in the municipal market and thanks to her experience and the quality of the products she carries she’s very well-known and preferred by her customers. She buys the dairy products like the cheese, cream and soft white cheese in a canton and the rest of the products she imports from Nicaragua.

The loan she’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy 216 pounds of soft white cheese and 400 bottles of cream. With this investment her available stock inventory will increase to expand business since the quality of the goods she sells is very well-known. She will meet customer demand since she’s preferred by a large number of customers because María offers high quality products. In future, she intends to have a larger business to supply all the customers and also to diversify her products.
