A loan of $600 helped to purchase rice, corn, chicharrón (pork rinds), beans, quesillo (soft cheese), tomatoes, oil, etc.

Adriana Concepcion's story

Adriana, 39, lives in her own house with her three children. They are 17, 15, and 13 years old and are currently in school. She has a business selling pupusas (thick corn tortillas with various fillings), which she has sold for a number of years in front of the insurance building near where she lives. With her earnings, she manages to cover some of her household expenses.

Adriana is requesting a loan in order to purchase all of the ingredients to make pupusas, such as: rice, corn, chicharrón (pork rinds), beans, quesillo (soft cheese), tomatoes, oil, etc. to maintain her business and provide a better quality of life for her children.
