A loan of $750 helped to buy farm supplies for her corn, bean and rice crops.

Fidelina's story

Fidelidad is a happy, hard-working entrepreneur who, despite her 52 years of age, still has big dreams. She was unable to get an education because her parents could not afford it. She is married and has four children who all work on the farm.

Fidelidad has been in agriculture for over 30 years as her parents taught her the activity when she was young. She sells her produce near her home to neighbors and people who sell it on a small scale at the local market, stores, etc. This is her only source of income, and has been for many years, and is what covers her family's basic daily needs regarding food, clothing, medicines, etc.

Fidelina is requesting support to buy fertilizers, herbicides and other supplies for her corn, bean and rice crops.

Her future goals include expanding her plantation and maintaining it so it will be in the family for many generations to come for her children and grandchildren. She wants the future generations to be able to take advantage of her and her husband's hard work and dedication.
