Utkir's story

Utkir is 34 years old. He is calm and hardworking person, living in a village of the Quabadiyon district. He is married and has four children whom he needs to support. Utkir is involved in growing agricultural crops on 0.08 hectares of land. His farm also contains two cows and one bull to meet the needs of the family. Utkir is planning to get involved in an animal husbandry business, specifically in buying and selling cattle, in order to improve the family's financial situation. He has a large barn for keeping livestock and also a starting capital of 2000 somoni (TJS). Utkir is requesting this loan to buy five cows and calves and feed for them. He will be running this business together with his wife. Thanks to the loan, Utkir will have additional income, a part of which he will spend on advancing his business and part on savings for his children's education.
