Shamim's story

Shamim is a 54-year-old vigorous lady. She has been stitching clothes for many years. She sews for the people of her community and uses the income to support her entire family. However, due to the lack of availability of funds, she is unable to meet the daily demands of her customers. For this reason she requested a loan of Rs 20,000 from Kashf Foundation.

She intends to use this loan amount to buy more spools of threads in different colors, along with packs of laces, zippers and buttons. This will create a means of increasing revenues so she may be able to generate a healthier source of income. She is in her 2nd loan cycle and thankful to Kashf for its tremendous support.
