His goal to become a sailor has been a dream of Aditya. He currently is a prospective student at the Academy of Maritime Nusantara, with programs in Nautical science. However, the concern Aditya has is that he cannot achieve these ideals, as he's the first of four children. Due to economic factors hampering his family, his father is employed as a construction worker in Jakarta, with a mediocre income and his mother does not have any special skills. With minimal income, Aditya's father has to feed four children and to pay the school fund.

Aditya's parents make every effort to help Aditya achieve his desires and ideals. Through the Student Loan program from the Kiva, Aditya hopes to finish his education and get a job on a fast ship. He is very grateful to the lenders of Kiva, because thanks to their help, he can cover the cost of tuition and can continue his studies.
