Gulzada's story

Gulzada is 29 years old and married. She has three young children. Gulzada has a high school education. She gets very good reviews from her neighbors. They speak of her as a kind and hardworking woman.

Since 2007, Gulzada as the main source of income for the family has been involved in trade of food products, starting this business with 15,000 som KGS. Through hard work, Gulzada was able to develop and expand her trade. Her activities bring about 20,000 som KGS per month, which is the basis for covering costs of food and household needs for the family. Profit from the business allowed Gulzada to expand her inventory.

In order to further develop her business, Gulzada turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy wholesale merchandise for resale, and similarly as additional income for her family.

Gulzada wants to start raising livestock. She plans to purchase lambs. Gulzada plans to invest income from the loan to further increase her business, and in the future wants to do home repairs.
