A loan of $5,000 helped a member to buy inputs for food elaboration.

Jardin Group's story

The communal bank Jardin consists of nine members, eight women and one man, and its chairperson is Verónica. She can be seen in the photo wearing pink sweatpants and holding a little girl. She is 32 years old and has two children. She works selling food in her food stall located in the Palmar neighborhood in the city of Santa Cruz.

This is her first loan with this communal bank, which Verónica will use to buy inputs for food elaboration, such as potatoes, rice, and noodles in bulk. In this way she hopes to improve her sales and increase her working capital. The reason why she requests this loan is that she does not have the capital for buying inputs. Verónica will use this benefit to continue buying inputs in bulk. Her wish is for her business to grow, she is a hard-working person who is happy and grateful to the institution for the support it offers her by giving her this loan.
