A loan of $1,275 helped to pay for ready-to-wear merchandise, like ladies' clothing, to expand her product inventory.

Tessie's story

This is Tessie. She previously obtained a 40,000 PHP loan, which she used to buy ready-to-wear clothing (called "RTW" in the Philippines), to expand her product inventory. Her earnings were a big help in her personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another loan, this one in the amount of 55,000 PHP. She will use the new loan to again buy RTW merchandise, like ladies' wear, to expand her product inventory. The more items she has on display, the better. More items to sell will result in a better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help her to meet her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness, and thankfulness in her heart.

Tessie hopes to have a department store someday, and dreams of always having good health. She meets up with her co-fellowship members* every week, to share stories of her life and business and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
