Natividad's story

Natividad is a hardworking, enterprising, 53-year-old woman who supports her family; she has 8 children. She works selling vegetables, dry grains and raising small animals like guinea pigs.

She buys vegetables like onions, carrots, cabbage, lima beans, tomatoes and others from different farmers in Paucartmbo to then sell in her sales stand in one of Paucartambo’s markets. She’s been in this business for several years now and does very well thanks to the effort she puts into her work.

She belongs to the “Mamacha Carmen” communal bank and on this occasion needs the loan to buy dry grains and vegetables. She’s grateful for and values the loan and commits to make her monthly payments very responsibly.
