Beijing Group's story

The “Beijing” communal bank consists of 8 members, six women and two men. The bank’s president is Lilian, 26, who is married with two children. She works selling food in her sales stand located at home in the Cala Cala zone. This loan is her first sequence in the institution and Lilian will use it to buy ingredients like potatoes, rice and noodles at wholesale to prepare the food so sales and her working capital will increase. Her reason for requesting the loan is her lack of capital to buy the supplies. Lilian will use profits to continue buying amounts of supplies. Her wish is to make the business grow. She’s a hardworking woman who feels happy and grateful to the institution for the support they provide by granting the loan.
