Yemalin Femi 5 Group's story

The group known as Yemalin Femi 5 is made up of 16 persons who live in the same district. The leader of the group, Florentine, is the woman with her hand raised in the photo. Wishing to raise the level of their businesses so as to better cope with their customers' demand, this group is asking for their third loan from Alidé.

Florentine is 29 years old and married to Florentin. The couple have two children, of whom one is enrolled in school and both are in their care. Florentine and her husband live together with their children and share in providing for the family.

In order to contribute to the various needs of her family, Florentine has been hawking pasta and empty wheat sacks on foot and selling the goods in a market for nine years. She buys her supplies in a market in Benin.

Wishing to grow their businesses and better satisfy their clientele, Florentine and the other members of the group called Yemalin Femi 5 are asking for a third loan from Alidé. Their ambition is to expand their activities. The two prior loans have been correctly reimbursed.
